DESCRIPTION
Focusing on 10 significant buildings in the historical centre of Pavia, the research aims to identify, within the urban neighborhood of each building considered, the pedestrian paths with the highest level of accessibility, in order to sign the easiest route to reach the entrance of the buildings. An accessibility assessment chart is developed, divided into 21 parameters (objectively measurable) in order to identify the accessibility level of the path; each street under investigation is assessed and classified according to three different levels of accessibility: low - medium (accessible with assistance) - high. A path, accessible with assistance, that connects all the 10 buildings covered by the research is found; this accessible path, together with a brief tourist description of the buildings, is shown on a map that the Municipality of Pavia printed and placed at the disposal of the Office.
