DESCRIPTION

To improve the accessibility and usability of the Central Building of the University (with the Faculties of Law, Letters, Political Sciences and the University administrative offices, including the Rector’s) through interventions aimed at the enhancement of its historical rooms and courtyards. Building analysis and introduction of assistive devices to facilitate the mobility into the Building, acting in accordance with a conscious approach which takes into account its architectural values: reversible solutions, use of innovative materials, management and maintenance of punctual interventions. Tactile maps with general information at the ground floor and at the first floor, strategically positioned according to the building visitors’ flows; informative three-dimensional maps of the most significant environments (Historical Rooms and Museum), positioned at their entrances.
