DESCRIPTION

The Workshop "The inclusive town: design public spaces without barriers", included within the Festival Alfabeti Differenti 2014, aims to study and analyze the accessibility of 3 squares in the town centre of Pavia: Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, Piazza Castello and Piazza del Municipio. The students of the teaching Architectural Techniques 2 2013/2014 (prof. Alessandro Greco) of the Degree Course in Building Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia worked together during and intensive week, in order to improve architectural design solutions able to solve problems about accessibility and usability of the public spaces, focalizing of the project of an INFO-POINT respecting the size of industrial containers.
