DESCRIPTION
To promote the culture of accessibility involving students, from high schools of technical-professional studies, in a research on the place of residence (Voghera - PV); to know the accessibility level of the streets through a mapping of architectural and sensorial barriers carried out by students. The assessment chart designed for the research “Pavia for All” is adapted to be used in a smaller context; some parameters are simplified in order to facilitate the survey by students without losing the objectivity of measurement. In the same way of “Pavia for All”, the research maps three different levels of accessibility: low - medium - high. An accessibility plan of the historical centre of Voghera is developed, highlighting the buildings of interest, showing the different levels of accessibility (red – yellow – green) of all the routes surveyed. This map can be the basis to find solutions that improve the pedestrian mobility.
